Its a Freeman pin nailer, bought it from Eagle America and it was less than half the price of the Porter Cable unit I had been looking at. (all my other nail guns are Porter Cable) I have to say that I am not a "buy a cheap tool" kind of guy. I would rather spend a few extra bucks and buy a tool once, one that will last me for a long time. The only tool I have replaced up to this point has been my table saw. I started with a Ryobi BT3100 and now I have a Grizzly 1023SL.
I am fairly impressed with the gun, it is well built and not a lot of plastic on it like most things these days. The only thing I would have done different in the trigger lock
It basically has a little rotating arm that you push in the way of the trigger to keep it from firing. For people with big hands and fat fingers like me it is difficult to hold the gun, push the lock out of the way, use the tool and push the lock back. And of course I was doing all of this working on a ladder working on trim (and without a net, aren't you impressed?)
I would have rather had a lock i could push out of the way with my finger from the side of the gun.
Overall though I am impressed with the unit so far (I just got it over the weekend) and at this point I will probably buy more from Freeman.
