Finally found a seat

if you have seen pics of the inside of my pickup you know I have a bench seat in there from some 70's car. It means I sit really low in the truck and it looks like I am driving a lowrider.  I have been looking for a seat frame for awhile and I have just been un-willing to pay the price people wanted for rusted and beat up frames that needed more work than not.  My wife found a listing on craigslist this week for a seat and after talking to the guy, we snatched it up.

I know it doesnt look like much, but the frame and springs are in great shape.  I will replace the foam and put a new cover on it and it will go great in my truck.

The guy we bought them from was really great, showed me his 69 GMC longbed, his 77 corvette and his 38 hot rod.  The 38 was in pieces in his garage.  We got the whole story on all the rides and it was great talking to him.  in the process of our talks I also found out he had a pair of metal door panels for the truck which I also bought off him

These are straight and true with no rust, ready to paint and put in so these were a great find.

so the question is how much right?  50.00 for the seat and 40.00 for the panels

total deal in my book and met a really nice guy
