Did I mention how cool my new chainsaw is?

so the other day my wife said to me "they are clearing a lot and there are a lot of trees down there they are just throwing away"

So what did I do?  As soon as I came home I grabbed my chain saw and some supplies and headed towards that lot.  Sure enough, there were a lot of trees piled up and ready to be hauled off for the trash.

This one I would have loved to be able to walk away with somehow.  It was about 3 feet wide at the base.

I ended up working my little saw hard and slabbed a piece off the end of this one  (its on the ground next to the tree)

I ended up cutting a few others but there was only one I could carry away and this is what it looked like on the ground

Yes, I know, if I was more of a man I would have a lift and trailer and such and could have walked away with a lot.

BTW - my new chainsaw was AWESOME!!

What is really sad about all this is that they were throwing all of this away.  This really makes me want to go buy a trailer mounted sawmill and go around telling these construction guys I will haul away the logs for nothing just so I can get the wood.
