My FIrst Car

Everyone has a special love for their first car, I am no different  (D's first car, 57 TR3)

Here are a few pics of my first car, 1968 plain Jane Camaro.

Above with the centerline wheels, painted grill, no front bumper, tint job, slapper bars, etc

Much to my fathers disgust, this was a familiar site.  My car with the hood up in the garage (with me messing with it)

pic of the inside, after I had it awhile since its all dirty,  and the tach is mounted on the pillar  (which NOBODY was doing back then and now EVERYONE is doing it)  This was before I put the tranny in it though since it doesnt have the B&M floor shifter in it.

Here's a pretty crappy pic of the interior, probably pretty close to when it was bought.  No tach, crappy gauges in the wrong place, etc

Pic of the engine, probably pretty early on,  Wrong hoses, still has exhaust manifolds, points distributer, etc.

not the final, but did had some work done to it.  Hooker headers, Mallory Distributor, Accell coil and plugs  (crap, threw them away later in life)  Holley carb  (hate quadrabogs...)  No more mechanical fan (installed electric fans), etc



maybe one of these days I'll find myself another camaro......
