Out of Juice

The other day as I left work, my truck, almost, didnt start.  It clicked and then turned over.  Well owning this truck for the amount of time I have, I know what that means.  It means the battery is dying and the next time I try, it wont start.  I had to pick up M from school that day, so I did that and got home ok.  Once home I pulled out some tools and pulled the battery out, went to my old truck and pulled the red top optima out of it and put it in my truck.  Of course, the old truck has been sitting for months now and for some stupid reason, I did not use my quick disconnect on the battery the last time I ran it, so the optima was dead.  I managed to jump it off my jump box and headed off to Fil's for M's baseball practice.  Once done at fils went out and the truck wouldnt start, and the jump box was dead from me using it to start the truck with a dead battery, luckily Nick was around and was able to give me a jump.

Got home and plugged the trickle charger into the truck for overnight and plugged in the jump box to get it juiced back up again.

so now I have a battery sitting in the garage I need to go recycle,

and a new red top in the truck.....

and nothing in the old truck, for now
