I give up

so a couple of years ago, the LOML bought a utility knife at a home center somewhere that seemed cool.  When you squeeze it, it pushed the knife out, when you unsqueeze it  (yes, that is a word) it pulls the blade back in.

the problem is, it isnt cool.  Either the blade is stuck and wont come out, or the blade is stuck and wont go back in.  After fighting with this thing every time I touched it, I finally got tired of it

for those of you that need a roadmap, that would be the inside of a trash can, with the knife in it..

ok, so the sad thing, is one of the features of the knife is what is screwing it up!

It has a thing where if you take a blade out of it, then un squeeze it, it will push a new blade in it and when you squeeze again, voila! new sharp blade.

Well the problem is, that means the spring on the blade holder is pushing against the mechanism all the time, no matter what

I did not decide to modify this in some way to make it work for me

I decided I had ruined enough of my life on this bad tool already..

Sorry baby, no offense to you, it should have been a cool tool.....  It just wasnt
