After getting back from my rounds around the world, I went to use my bike and found both tires flat, no big deal, I'll air them up.
As I am putting air in the front one, I hear the hissing sound of a leak. I go check the rear tire, same thing.
HMMM.
Then, the LOML tells me that M's brand new bike also has a slow leak in the rear tire.
Guess its bike repair time.
I look at M's bike and the schrader valve on the rear tire is sitting at a funny angle and binding on the wheel, looks like someone did not assemble the wheel, innertube, tire correctly. Luckily I was able to let all the air out of it and slip the innertube on the wheel around to get it all lined up right. Aired it back up and it looked good. Checked it a few days later and it was still holding pressure.
on mine, I took the wheels off and removed the innertubes, sure enough, both have splits in them on the seam. D picked up a couple of new tubes at the store, installed them, got them back on the bike and went for a little test ride. So far, so good
