While getting ready for the hanger party we did 2 things, clean up and straighten up the hanger.
Cleaning up we had some great help from family to get all the dead bugs off the floor, and get the walls clean and we spent a lot of time running shop vacs and brooms all over the hanger. It looks MUCH better now and I wanted to thank everyone who helped with that.
I know, its a crappy picture, taken with my phone, because I forgot to take a decent camera out there. As I have said before, I am really bad with the picture thing...
ANYWAY, THANKS! to all who helped clean
We also worked on some storage for out there.
Built the shelves on the left out of 2x4's and plywood. I actually went out looking for some "off the shelf" shelving I could buy. I could not find anything in a decent price range that was over 6 feet tall. I wanted 8 foot tall shelving, that was 8 foot wide, and something I could expand on. Finally gave up and for less than the price of those shelving options I built my own, AND built a cabinet for some bins I had, and I am partway through building a stationary workbench for that corner also.
Still need to build a big mobile worktable for out there, maybe 2 of them.
I have to say, after months of being abroad, and then coming back and doing nothing but concrete board and tile, it was nice to get to make some sawdust again.
