Part of the issue we have had with our master bath since we moved into this house, is that the shower door opened the wrong way and you kind of hand to step into the closet to get out of the shower. So we took the door off of the closet to keep from bumping the door all the time.
We didnt get rid of the door, we put it in the attic.
Well now that we have a shower door that goes the right way, we can put the door back. D got the door out of the attic, and it has a hole in it. Looks like someone stepped on it and a knob from another door pushed through this one. Of course its just a little crappy hollow core door.
Hmm, what to do now.
I took a small piece of a shim and with my trusty pink hot glue gun, glued a shim to the inside of the hollow core door to give me something to build on
Then I worked in some wood filler, and scored the faux grain lines into the wood filler
A little prime, and a little paint (by the LOML)
a little sanding, a little rotary tool work
A little more paint... (LOML)
and...
looks pretty darn good if you ask me
