I have 2 columns on the front porch of my house, and have been thinking about what other flag I could put there without upsetting the HOA.
because yes, some of what I want to put there would upset the HOA....
With all the fun going on in the US, I have been driving around for quite awhile with a blue line of tape across the back window of my truck.
(if you aren't familiar with that, do a google search)
I decided what i should do is fly a first responders flag.
Step 1 - make a flag mount. Same as my old one. Welded steel, painted black. Screwed to the brick.
Step 2 - make a flag pole. One piece as the 2 piece pipes off the shelf just fall apart all the time. Decided to make it with EMT pipe, with a couple bends in it so the flag would fly at a better angle.
Step 3 - use my own flag mounts.
Step 4 - fly the flag!
