How bad I am at remembering to take pictures?

Spent Saturday at the in-laws blowing insultaion in the attics.  They had an attic above part of the first floor of the house that had some fiberglass blown in insulation from many years ago, but it did not even cover the joists and some areas had no insulation at all.  After putting in vents to keep us from covering up the soffit vents and building a box to cover the one pot light in the ceiling, we started blowing in the insulation.   After about 8 feet or so over coverage I figured out I needed a better way to attack this so I had to stop and make myself a tool.  I toook a broom handle and taped a flashlight to the end of the pole and then taped the hose to the pole.  This helped me get the hose where I needed it and get the light shining where I needed it.  We ended up blowing about 18 bales of eco friendly insulation into that area to make it around 10 inches of insulation.  This attic overall was not bad as I could stand up through most of the area and did not have to crawl around much.  It was pretty hot as there was not much airflow.
 We then moved to the attic above the second floor which was only about 5 feet high in the center of the roof so I spent most of the time up there laying down.  We ended up using about 20 bales up there to get the same 10 inches of insulation.

  Its great to do this and I hope the in-laws house is more comfortable this summer and it should help the AC work less.

and again, no pictures at all.  althought by the time it was over I was covered from head to toe in insulation so I dont think you would have wanted to see it anyway.
