Cool Places to go - Mill and Covered Bridge

While in Alabama we found ourselves driving on Grist Mill road and it made me wonder if there was a mill around there so later in the hotel I went searching on the Internet and found one in Childersberg.  We had some time Tuesday Morning before our flight so we drove out that way to see the mill and the Covered Bridge

There was a old mill right there on the river, use to be a triple turbine unit (now its all electric powered)  and right up river was a covered bridge from the 1800's

Problem was we drove the hour out there only to find out they were closed that day.  But we got out and looked around anyway and ran into the woman that owns the place who talked to us for awhile.

If you are into old mills, its definitely a place to go see  (but check and make sure they are going to be open first)
