I find it somewhat frustrating that you cant say Merry Christmas to most people. Because of course the PC thing to do is to say Happy Holidays. To me, thats just not the same. One of the things I liked about going to Tennessee over the holidays for the past few years is that people there regularly say Merry Christmas to each other
Well color me surprised that I was in a restaurant the other evening, in California of all places, and the waitress (actually bartender because I was sitting at the bar) told me Merry Christmas on my way out the door. I was quite stunned in fact and took me a minute to catch up so I could reply.
and of course I told her Merry Christmas also...
