Well the last time you saw the drawers they were done and ready for stain and poly. Which while I was loosing digits in the cold frozen tundra of Canada, the LOML worked on those things and got them ready.
So you would think that all i would have to do is install the drawer slides and they would be done right?
Well , if I wasnt a DA then that would be true. I forgot that the under mount slides that I had were not rated for a full 3/4" side piece. When I tried to mount them on the drawers the slides were too tight. Hence I had to do some work to the drawers to thin of the sides to make them fit.
After that I did manage to take some cutoff scraps from the horsey project and make mounting blocks for the slides and get them installed in the cabinet (BTW, go figure, the cabinet is not Square, GASP, ARRGGH)
After then figuring out that I made the slot for the hook from the slide too big in one drawer and I had to fill the hold and then re-do it again (this time with a hammer and chisel, like I did the second one)
I was finally able to get both drawers mounted in place and working fine.
now, all I have to do is re-stain and poly the sides of the drawers so I can re-mount them and put all the crap in them.
