the BORG did not have the Dewalt 14V compact drill I was looking for but I have to say the tool world there was impressive. Full selection of Milwaukee, Hilti, Bosch, Dewalt, etc. I cant tell you how un-impressed I am by the tool world in the home stores in the south. They have home owner tools at best and even then, a terrible selection.
Anyway, I ended up deciding on a 18V lithium-ion Drill for the shop as it was a compact series and still pretty small. I also bought a rolling toolbox and intermediate tool box to go on top of it.
The thing that amazed me about the drill was how light the battery was. And once charged it has plenty of power. The torque settings on the drill were a little off, but that is not surprising these days.
Here is the toolbox I bought. I was impressed with the quality for the price. The drawers were all ball bearing and rolled smooth even after I filled them with heavy tools. Why you ask did I buy an intermediate box and not a regular tool box? Well because we always have larger items that wont fit in drawers and we set on top. When you have a regular toolbox the top always flipped over and we would always cover it with tools and you cant get to anything in the top.
