Its raining, its pouring

Yes it is, and unfortunately its getting in my truck.  Apparently I have a leak in the back doors to my tahoe that is letting water in and getting the carpet wet which makes the truck smell real good.....

After messing with it and doing some investigation I decided it has to be related to worn out weatherstripping so off I go to my friendly neighborhood dealership.  I get to talk to this really nice guy who only has 5 words to say and wont get off his ass for nothing, but in the end he does find the part I need in his computer and informs me it will have to be ordered.  So there I am out 80 bucks and all I have is a piece of paper.

Fast forward one week and mister personality calls me and lets me know it is in and ready to be picked up. I pick up the part and luckily it is exactly what i thought it was going to be.  only took me about 5 minutes to put it in as there were only 6 or 8 bolts holding this section in.  The doors seem to be tighter now and at this point I think I will wait for the next storm to see what happens.

Funny thing about this is the label on the part says  "Vintage Part"  Since when is a 2003 truck considered Vintage in 2010?
