Things kids NEED to know how to do....

Every parents job is to teach their child the things they need to know in order to be a productive member of society.  My view of what those things should be are skewed from the rest of the world.   We finally had some time last friday night to get to one of the things that has been at the top of the list lately....

WELDING!

We only have one helmet right now so I am looking away and he is looking at the weld.  (I only flashed myself once)

We were welding horseshoes to a piece of steel for the Gun Cabinet we are building.

The welds weren't bad for his first ever

after grinding down and painting, they look great

now all I have to do is put a couple more coats of poly on the cabinet so I can mount this on there
