Sharpening my chain saw

as I have talked about before, I love my stihl chainsaw.  It is a awesome tool and works great, but what do I do when the blade goes dull?

I started doing a lot of digging and was looking at everything from hand files to power sharpeners that mount on a bench and priced everywhere from a few bucks all the way to hundreds of dollars

In the process I found this

https://www.timberlinesharpener.com/

I did some reading about it, watched the video, compared it to others and decided it was worth a shot.

I ordered it on-line and hoped it would work.

Received it a couple of days later, via USPS and looked it over.  I am impressed with the machining and build of the unit, It definitely is built well.  I watched the video again just to make sure i remembered what I was doing (no, I did not read the instructions)  I went and grabbed my saw and within 5 minutes I had it mounted on the saw correctly and was sharpening.  I obviously dont have a lot of experience with this, but I can tell you from my perspective it is a great tool that is easy to mount, sharpen the blade and remove quickly.

Here are some pics of it on my saw

Obviously time will tell how well it holds up, but I can say right now I would definitely recommend this to others
