no, as a matter of fact, the numbers in these titles have no relation to anything real in the world..
now that we are past that..
We decided to do a spray foam insulation in the 3 bays we stripped to put in the fireplace. Its more of a test to see if it makes enough of a difference that we would want to do it in the west facing wall in M's room, which gets really hot in the sumer.
so we got everything tarped and me all suited up, and started spraying
yes, the suit is very stylish, its somewhat clashes with my gloves, but the suite didnt come in green.
:)
The kit is really easy, it came from Tiger Foam. Had no issues getting it all hooked up and going and other than just a learning curve of how much to squeeze the trigger and how far to hold the gun away from the wall, it was pretty easy. I would suggest if you are going to do this, and you have not done it before, do like us, take on a small project and learn how it all works.
Once done there were areas that were sticking out from the wall where I sprayed too much foam, so those had to be taken off with a saw. I guess I could have gone high tech here, but in the end I decided low tech was the best thing, used my old saw, that was my dad's way back when.
In the end, it looks good, and we got good coverage
Next step, DRYWALL!
