Daddy fix

so R was over at our house because of baseball camp so he and M were running around the house and I proceeded to shoot them with Nerf Guns..

Why is that so shocking?

Anyway, I picked up one of the guns and it didnt work.  Would shoot one at a time manually, but not the automatic, belt fed fire that I require in order to rain bulletts upon 10 year old boys.

so I took some time to open the gun up and find some of the batteries have leaked.

I take them out and throw them away and find corrosion on the metal pieces inside the battery box, hmm, what can I do?

See the bubbles?  That is the corrosion being eaten off the metal

Know whats eating the corrosion off?

Coke!

thats right, Coke does just a good a job at eaten corrosion off metal as it does eating the lining off the inside of your stomach  (yes, I have experience with that, both kinds)

so I was able to get all the pieces cleaned up, dried up and installed back in the battery box

and then put back in the gun and now the gun works!

which means I can go back to my full frontal assault of any person other than my wife that may enter the house...
