and sometimes, not in a good way.
The LOML has a knack for frustrating me beyond belief.
Example.
We have lights on our front porch that are on timers and all that. They are very high and we have a pole to help change the bulbs out.
She buys new LED bulbs for them and installs them, well for whatever reason when they are off, they flash. Strobe light kind of flashing. It looks like there is either a rave going on in our front yard or we are in distress and trying to help the cops and ambulance find the house
Neither of those are a good thing, so she looks at changing the back, in the process, she gets the bulb holder stuck on one of the bulbs in the socket 20 feet in the air and cant get it off.
Probably hard to see, but the light towards the bottom of the picture has a the bulb holder still around it. She just unthreaded the pole from it.
Now of course she came to me and told me what was going on so we could work on it...
NOT!
My child told me about it....
Then the LOML, the mother of my child, the most important person in my life got out the ladder to try and reach it and take it down. Needless to say that did not work.
Problem was the springs were wrapped around the bulb too hard so you could not pull the holder off the bulb, you also couldnt unscrew the bulb because the pole just unscrewed from the pole (there is a screw there to prevent this, but obviously.....)
so the LOML told me that i could probably reach the bulb from the ladder and she would help me and ..........
I came home, got out some super glue, put super glue on the threads of the pole and threaded the pole tightly on bulb holder and went back inside with the pole hanging there.
Came back a few minutes later and unscrewed the bulb from the socket. Spread the springs on the holder, then screwed the bulb back in and pulled the holder off.
Then texted her with a picture of the bulb in and the holder removed.
along with text that said "and I didnt even get on the ladder"
Dont get me wrong, I am not trying to say I always have a way to fix something and she doesnt. What makes she and I work really well together is that she and I always come at things from different sides and between the two of us we always come up with a good plan / idea / concept / whatever we need to deal with the situation in front of her.
What I have to remind her from time to time is that we work much better as a team than we do as her trying to deal with something behind my back and keeping secrets from me.
(yes dear, that is another reminder)
