I mentioned in an earlier post about estate sales and garage sales and such we have been going to looking for things we might need.

Yes, we do have a list of things we are looking for.
No, we will not share that list with anyone, stop asking.

ANYWAY,

so we headed out one saturday morning to look at a garage sale around the corner, found nothing there, but on our way back stopped at one we saw the signs for and low and behold, I found something.

But, I was controlling myself.  I dont need to buy it now, its just one more thing to deal with, We dont have time to deal with it,

too much time and too little to do

Wait, scratch that, reverse it

Anyway, the LOML says to me

"Isnt the plan to build out a nice shop full of tools out at the Hanger?"

Dangit!

of course she is right and she knows I should buy it.

so I go talk to the lady running the show and offer her the money I am willing to spend and she takes it, obviously not knowing what it is truly worth.  For that price I didnt even ask to turn it on, I paid her and we loaded it up

Its a Delta 1200 24" Scroll saw on a stand someone made.  It is Circa 1939 and still has the original motor on it.

Plugged it in and it ran smooth and easy

new belt and some cleanup and it will be a great tool for the shop
